As 2025 draws to a close, I want to thank you, again, for being part of the Thinking Kat community! You aren’t alone in finding value in our weekly newsletter, which has featured practical guides for life science leaders and deep dives into talent and ecosystem development. Over 1,400 readers have enjoyed the Thinking Kat newsletter alongside you this year.
Where are the challenges for the life science industry right now? The list seems endless: a recessionary economy, uncertain governance, significant challenges to traditional de-risking funding sources like SBIR/STTR grants, delayed exits and shifts in market drivers changing the capital landscape, and continuing problems with payor and reimbursement systems, to name a few. To help you, my founder and investor readers, I’m making changes to my platform. To start, I’ll be adding top experts, practitioners, and thought leaders to the Katrina Rogers Consulting team. We’ll also try out additional Substack features to deliver more value to you.
